We had a very successful day at Folkestone Sports Centre in the Kent Sportshall League.

FJAC juniors fielded 5 Under 11 teams, 3 Under 13 teams & 2 Under 15 team's.

We won a very competitive under 11 mixed team event, with team 1 Joshua Evans, Owen Humphries, Ida Keller and Emily Mackenzie taking first place out of 19 teams from across the county.

FJAC athletes also won the U13 boy's team event, with Jack Doubtfire, Keenan Simmons, Tommy Owler and Emmanuel, with Oscar Maull joining our partner team Paddock Wood, Keenan came first in the U13 boys with Jack just 2 points behind him.

The winning ways continued with Gene Sanger winning the overall U15 boys event and with Edward, Nathaniel Ryan and Bill Norman they also won the team event.

The Under 15 girls of Caitlin Gallagher, Macey Forster, Lydia Stanton and Eleanor Jury (fromSwale) won the team competition and Caitlin Gallagher came 3rd over U15 girl.

The Under 13 girls of Ellie Burke, Ellie Mcleavey, Catrina MacArthur and Maisie Riddell came 2nd to a team that had been made up of 4 athletes from different clubs which made for a very strong team.

Other Under 13 girls Caitlin Taylor, Melissa Mckenny, Evie Fouracre, Grace Norman and Grace Dixon also produced fine performances to take 4th Place.

There were PB's by everyone, everybody competed brilliantly, we also had lots of athletes competing for the first time especially in the under 11 age group, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The full results are on the KCAA website.

Well done Everyone!
